We have performed our services for thousands of commercial and residential properties worldwide every year, always with outstanding results.  We are currently serving 200+ markets worldwide in the USA and in 8 countries globally. New locations, domestic and international, are opening rapidly in key markets.

We can extend, restore, rejuvenate and preserve the color, life, beauty and appearance of your existing carpet for a fraction of the cost of a new carpet. We can restore and match the existing color evenly or we can give it a brand new color or even a brand new look by adding designs and borders. We can correct color loss in solid, patterned, or multicolor carpets and rugs.  Even if the existing carpet is in excellent shape, but the color is out-dated, ugly, mismatched to your other decor or just plain annoying; we can change all that! Our only competition is new carpet! Here are the most Frequently Asked Questions:

1.    Can commercial carpet be dyed on-site?

  1. Yes, we dye commercial carpet and yes - on site.  Almost all commercial carpet is made of high-grade nylon or wool or a combination of the two. All of this carpet is re-dyeable by our process.  Also, our exclusive process can dye many other synthetic carpets.  No one else can do that!  The results are always incredible if performed by our on-site, carpet dyeing experts.
2.    Can any color be matched?
  1. Yes, every carpet color can be matched.  We have more than 16 million custom colors from which to select.  We can match and restore every existing color in the original carpet including multi-color or patterned carpet, or we can create a brand new color for your property or add borders and designs too.
3.    Can any discoloration be corrected?
Yes, we can correct any discoloration, whether large or small including: faded areas, bleach stains, traffic patterns, unsightly blemishes, side-match problems, guest room or common area or much needed carpet color restoration. The only exception is if the existing carpet fiber is chemically destroyed or missing.
4.   Is carpet dyeing less costly than carpet replacement?
Yes, carpet dyeing services are far less expensive, short term and long term, than buying new carpet.  In most cases we can save the commercial carpet owner more than 60% (and up to 85%) when compared to replacement costs.  We can dramatically reduce or eliminate most of the traditionally accepted cleaning and maintenance costs associated with commercial carpet care.
5.    Can color families be changed?
Yes, we can change color families.  We don\'t have to "dye dark".  We can restore, slightly tint, or change the color family without dyeing the carpet "dark".  We can change the color dramatically for new corporate color schemes or to change the "energy" or "attitude" of the entire property or in just a room or two.
6.    Is a guarantee provided?
Yes, we guarantee our services. Color Your Carpet® is the only company in the world that can perform expert, on-site carpet dyeing and color restoration services with amazing results.  All terms and conditions are provided to the client in advance. We guarantee our work in writing on our Service/Proposal Invoice which must be agreed to before we begin work.
7.    Can the carpet be walked on immediately?
Yes, it\'s true that you can walk on the carpet immediately after we have dyed the carpet. Our proprietary dyes are equal or superior to mill dyes and are colorfast in under 60 seconds! The carpet will still be slightly damp, but less than when carpet is cleaned.
8.    Are the dyes colorfast?
Yes, our proprietary dyes are colorfast and permanent immediately and will not walk off or track off. Our dyes are equal or superior to mill dyes.
9.    Can the carpet be commercially cleaned as before?
Yes, after our dyeing services, carpets can be commercially cleaned on the regular schedule without fear of color loss. However, most properties report that after we have re-dyed a carpet, that they have actually reduced the annual number or frequency of regular carpet cleanings needed.
10.  Do you provide color correction for small areas?
Yes, we provide color correction for small areas.  We do not have to dye your entire property.  Sometimes all that\'s needed is spot dyeing or stubborn stain removal. Especially on new carpet, this is the perfect solution for keeping a property "perfect" in appearance and in a very expedient and cost effective mode. Many times all that is needed is traffic lane color restoration in guest rooms, offices or hallways.
11.  Is there a continuing color maintenance and emergency service program?
Yes, we offer a Color Care program that provides you with both regular inspections and immediate response services. We perform inspections at scheduled intervals as well as emergency color corrections on call to ensure that your property always exhibits the indoor curb appeal that best reflects your company\'s desired image to clients and visitors.
12.  Is an evaluation provided?
Yes, we provide a complete carpet evaluation and a written service proposal to you at without obligation. If inspection or testing fees are required, that amount is applied to the cost of the job. As well we will provide you with the latest reports on pertinent carpet industry new, related technical advances and carpet maintenance issues at no cost.
13.  Are referrals provided?
Yes, we provide referrals to you, so that you may contact or even visit and personally inspect the amazing results of our services with some of our clients before you make a decision. We will make a formal presentation to you or your designated staff member upon request. We will also perform a demonstration on your property to eliminate any skepticism about our services if at that point you still have any.
14.  Is the dyeing process convenient?
Yes, we dye and clean in ONE-STEP with our unique system.  You do not have to have your carpets cleaned before we arrive unless your property is a large cafeteria or high traffic restaurant. In that case we ask that you allow us to select and monitor the cleaning process so that the high detergent residues are properly removed before we begin. In all cases we will educate you and your staff as to the best methods of cleaning carpet and how to treat accidental stains so that they won\'t become "set" stains.
15.  We have a very busy property, can our schedule be accommodated?
Yes, we can accommodate any schedule. Jobs, small or large, will be scheduled around your high occupancy time frames. When an impromtu QC inspection arises with only a day\'s notice we will prioritize your request to meet your sensitive time constraints. We can adjust our schedule to meet your needs.
16.  Are the carpet dyeing products safe?
Yes, all of our dyes are safe, non-toxic, odorless and eco-friendly.  For more than 20 years we have maintained a flawless record for safety, environmentally correct and professionally performed dyeing and color restoration services.
17.  Can  insurance or mill claims be considered?
Yes, we inspect, investigate and back-up insurance and mill claims.  We maintain an excellent record of service with carpet manufacturers and insurance adjusters
18.  Are there jobs you reject?
Yes, there are jobs we can\'t or won\'t do.  About 90% of all carpets are dyeable by our process and only about 10% of all carpets depending on the market, cannot be re-dyed by our process.
19.  Do commercial property owners buy polyester or polypropylene carpet?
Yes, but property owners only buy polyester or polypropylene (Olefin) ONCE, whether commercial or residential! This includes the popular (due to all the misleading advertising hype) and soon to be infamous "berber" made of polypropylene (Olefin) or polyester. "P.E.T." is made of recycled plastics and is even worse. Fortunately no reputable commercial carpet retailer would try to sell any of these types of poor performing floor coverings to anyone. Unfortunately, many residential carpet retailers do.

If you have been duped into buying carpet made of polyester, P.E.T. or polypropylene (Olefin) for your property, you might as well prepare for new carpet purchasing as soon as possible. Only this time, educate yourself properly about the advantages and disadvantages of carpet fiber content and the related characteristics. Do not rely on the carpet salesperson to know or to tell you this critical information without your personal education and full understanding of the properties of carpet fibers. Most of the time, they really don\'t know  the facts about these fibers.

20.  Does carpet dyeing take less time than carpet replacement?
Yes, carpet dyeing takes far less time than carpet replacement.  As many as 20 guest rooms or more can be completed in a day by just one two-man team of DyeMasters. Or, we can dye as much as 1,000 square yards in less than day with a four unit service team.
21.  We have some very expensive wool area rugs, can you dye or restore color to them?
Yes, we dye wool area rugs. We can dye wool, nylon and many other carpet fibers whether tufted, woven, wall-to-wall or area rugs. Regardless of the original method of dyeing, we can re-dye any carpet fiber that was originally dyed by the manufacturer. This includes all types of carpet finish or weave as well. Before you decide to use our services, a sample will be made for you for your approval from your existing carpet or a demonstartion will be performed right in front of you or your authorized representative. Seeing is believing.
22.  Is carpet dyeing really a better choice?
Yes, for many reasons. Primarily, overall cost is always less than equal value carpet replacement. Usually 50% savings or more on cost and time.
A good quality commercial carpet for common areas is sold to the property at between $40 to $60 per square yard. Office or guest room carpet has a broad range of between $10 and $30 per square yard. However, this cost usually doesn\'t include:
Added Cost Item Cost Range Description
Removal $50 to $100 per 100 square yards Ripping out old carpet, tac strips must be reinstalled or repaired.
Installation Fees $100 to $300 per 100 square yards Often property owners will use in house staff to perform installation, glue service, or removal tasks, then the cost of those employees\' time would be counted.
Glue Fees $50 to $100 per 100 square yards If glued down glue must be removed and reapplied.
Discard/Disposal/Waste Fees $100 to $500 per 100 square yards The additional cost in most markets to: Pick up, load, unload and the disposal fees to landfill.
Transportation Fees $50 to $200 per 100 square yards The cost to transport (vehicle depreciation, vehicle time from property, vehicle gas & maintanence).
Padding $50 to $200 per 100 square yards If padding is used there is also an additional cost.
Administrative $20 to $200 per 100 square yards Managerial, accounting, design and corporate approval as well as paperwork time.
Downtime $??? Lost revenue from non-revenue producing space while carpet is being removed and replaced.  To replace carpet in 100 rooms would take 4 to 8 times longer than carpet dyeing services.
Safety Costs $??? You can\'t be too careful on a property today - one accident & legal fees are inevitable. Barricades, traffic diversion, extra personnel to help people/guests avoid tack strips, loose carpet, tools, etc.
